History
NetworkCameraReviews.com was created in February of 2005 with the goal of becoming a large resource for users wanting to
educate themselves about the new booming market of IP Network Security Cameras.
Considering IP Network Security is a new growing market, not many security providers understand the potential of IP network
cameras. According to J. P. Freeman, an industry analyst, IP Network Security and Surveillance products grew 70 to 80% in 2004
and he predicts that the segment for Remote (IP) cameras "is about to take off in a major way". Also, in 2002, Network
Cameras were worth $100 million and accounted for less than 10% of all security cameras sold. By 2007, Network Cameras are
expected to make up more than 50% of all security cameras sold, with sales of over a billion dollars.
With this in mind NetworkCameraReviews.com was founded.
