Axis 213 PTZ IR cut filter Question

Hi Folks, I'm new here and I would first like to say hello to everyone out there. A little back ground bout myself, I recently took on a project to stream live video and have been researching all the available technology to meet our application. We had settled on the Axis 213 PTZ for its IR capabilities and the feature of setting the IR cut filter to switch on and off automatically. Well, I have been fumbling with the configuations and to no luck, I can not get the IR to switch on or off automatically.

Anybody have any Ideas?

Hi,

If you only want to make the IR Cut Filter on or off on scheduled time, e.g. for night only to make it runs night mode. Just go to setup ---> event configuration ---> event types ---> add scheduled, define the time, and last, make IR Cut Filter on or off as you wish. I do it once on installation, and works well.

If you want to make the IR Cut Filter on or off as light go dark, there's no answer for it. That function is on other AXIS Camera models which is support auto day/night.
