After doing a bit of research I set up a WebCam in a Hot Glass Shop. Tell me what you think of it.

Interesting... I noticed a "Small Glory Hole" in the shop. What might that be for??

When they are making complex glass pieces. One person will be using the main Glory Hole and then an assistant will use the smaller one to apply different colors of lip wrap on the edge of a bowl. They are both working at the same time so they each have to have their own Glory Hole.

OK, so if it were my place, that would definitely not be called a Glory Hole. Call it whatever you like, but glory hole just makes me giggle.

Some of these terms including that one have been used for over 100 years in Glass Work and just because somebody decides to use that term for something that is not really even known main stream are you suppose to change it?

The new definition of "Glory Hole" is much more well known than the original. That's not our fault. It's interesting to know where the term came from though.

What model camera are you using?
