can anyone tell me which camera is a better buy: dlink's dcs2100g or vivotek ip3136? thanks

D-Link all the way! It is an American company so tech support is easier. Vivotek is in Tiewan and with the time difference and language barrier you will be pulling out your hair to get answers for tech support. So D-Link IMHO.

I agree with KnowItAll. I was fooling around with Vivotek's new IP7137. It took me about 25 emails to figure out it was defective :S
I would also suggest the 4XEM IPCAMWL30. It is very similar to the DCS-2100G.
