I've connected a speaker to my ICIntracom/Intellinet 503181 IP Camera's speaker port in an attempt to project sound from another PC in my LAN. I am using the software OfficeIntercom and although I can hear my other computers on my LAN (when using this software on each of those computers), I get an "unable to connect" from my camera when I attempt to send voice to it using this software (for obvious reasons, this software is not loaded on this camera).

Does anyone know of a working configuration of H/W and S/W that I can duplicate in order to get sound come out of the speaker hooked to my IP camera? Of interest, is that the software OEM doesn't provide any technical support until you buy their software from them and add a tech support license on top of the Software's cost. And the camera's tech support is of no assistance either.

Was told by the OEM that the camera has its own built-in software for full-duplex speaker and microphone operation. I installed a stereo mic and speaker on the camera along with a stereo headset on my PC, turned the audio on at the camera and I was hearing voice at the camera - a neat solution when I was faced with purchasing an IP intercom.
