Rotating image in a Axis 207mw.

Hi,all,
Newbie here. I have an unusual situation. I wish to mount a Axis 207mw at the side of a vertical bird nesting box, ultimately to create a Birdcam. This camera is perfect for my application, small, reasonably priced, excellent resolution.
Now to view bird coming into the box through a small entrance, climbs down the ladder and incubates eggs at the bottom, I need to physically rotate the camera 90 degrees to its normal viewing image. This allows me to see all of the above.
Now, as you may appreciate the image needs to be rotated 90 degrees on the computer to view it correctly. Does anyone know whether the Milestone software can rotate images at a 90degree angle??

Milestone can only achieve what the cameras software allows so unfortunately not. It's a real shame and I personally would love to see functionality like this coded into the Milestone software...

As Mr. Sots suggests, our software will only store the images as they are received from the camera and it will not make any orientation changes unless we can send a request to the camera to send images rotated a specific way.

If you intend to make AVI exports however, you should be able to record the video at a 90 degree angle, then rotate the video and re-encode using video editing software. Windows Movie Maker can probably do this with ease.

Just an idea. You'd still have a nasty case of taco-neck if you're trying to view live or recorded video in the software, but at least you would record the video that you really want. If you're sharing the video with the birding community, then it would be in AVI format anyway I imagine, so no one would know the difference.
