Hello, I got a problem with dynDNS Updater or my router I think? Here is the problem; I had a Linksys WRT54GS all configured and working well with (2) 4EXEM WLPTG wireless network cameras. Well I got zapped by a power surge and it blew out my router. So I went down and bought the exact same router except a different version. The first was a version 4 the new one is version 7. So I configured it exactly (I hope) like the old one and set the cameras back up. I can connect to my cameras via the web but when dynDNS Updater tries to update and check my IP address it losses connection. According to the log file it says that it is a Winsock error and that my local machine IP is not a public address. I then have to manually reset the router and everything is connected again. Also when I try to save the network settings in the camera configuration it looses the IP address. I reset the router and all is well again. The changes I tried to update are changed when I check them after the reset. I have also deleted the dynDNS host and re-added it and it still does the same thing. Any ideas where I am going wrong? Thanks for any input you can give.
