I have three of these WVC54GC Cams. I've had them over a year. Same problem. They work great on ethernet cable, but If i remove the cable (after installed all the settings of my network) it does not work...
I'm 61 yrs old. Maybe I'm a little dense. But I tried everything I can think of.
Can enyone help me with this? I realy would like to go wireless.

Is your wireless network secured on your Router ? HAve you gone into the camra settings to setup the wireless ?
You need to post everything you have tried to do to better help you.

My network is secured. I did go into the camara and set up the wireless.
My cams can be seen on the internet. Everything works great, except, I can't drop the e-cable and be "wireless". All I was told to do by Lynksys is, once all the setup was done, and everything was working, just unplug the power to the cam, drop the e-cable for about a minute, then just plug the power back to the cam. Wait a little bit and do a search with the Lynksys viewer and
your cam should com back on line. Never does.
