I'm trying to install the IP camera using the Installation Wizard. The Installation Wizard can see the camera showing the address of 192.168.0.99 (even though we have a DHCP server). However, Internet Explorer yields 'page cannot be displayed' when I click the Link to Selected Device button. I set my IE security settings to Low temporarily but that does not help. If I click the Setup button in the Installation Wizard, the authentication dialog appears even though I have not changed the default port or password. I even reset the factory settings on the camera itself. I still cannot access the camera. Any ideas would be appreciated. _________________ Gary

Try doing a factory reset. I believe there is a pin hole somewhere on the camera. I don't have the PTZ model but I have the wireless g PT camera. To do a factory reset you need to put a paperclip in the hole and hold it there for 20 seconds. That should set the camera to its factory defaults. The camera has DHCP enabled by default so it should pickup an ip from your DHCP server. Try connecting to the device after doing the factory reset.

its not enough to do simple reset. Press reset button, hold, plug in power, and wait.. This will do full reset..

HUSGH, when you find the camera with the Wizard, please change its ip address so it is in the same network layer with your PC, for example not 192.168.0.99 but ... 1.99 or .... .2.99, whatever number is your network. _________________ Whatever your ip surveillance need is we are willing to help you meet it!
