Does any know of some free software?
I have a customer that is going to test 1 camera for now ,but will grow into 4.
I would only need to hold the data over a weekend.

Any help will be great.

You could try blueiris. It is not free, however you have a 30day test period. The full version (for up to 16 cameras) is only US$39, online registering.

What's the camera make/model? You may well find that Mobotix CC can handle it and that's free for as many cameras as you care to use...

You can download a free one camera licence of Milestone XProtect Professional from the milestone website. Should handle your Sony camera. Failing that I think you can get a free single camera licence of Sony Real Shot Manager from Sony's site...

My cameras upload images to an FTP server whenever they see motion. I need an interface to install on that server that will organize and display the images. I want to pick a date and an hour and see a grid of all the images received during that time. All the software I have seen want to watch the camera 24x7 and record motion. This does not work for me because my cameras and server are not on the same local network. Any suggestions?
