Which one is better? Video quality and sound quality. The specs are almost the same, but the D-Link is half the price. Also, what brand of router would you recommend?
I have a pet Parrot at home and want to use it to monitor him while I am away or on vacation.

Depending on how long you want it to last, I'd buy the Axis exery time! Scrap the wireless and spend the extra on a mega-pixel version as the image quality is superb as is the built in microphone considering it's size/cost.
Router wise, go with what you're comfortable with, just make sure it supports NAT

Forget the D-Link, but don't take my word for it, check the internet for the reviews. You'll find bad reviews on the product, as well as D-Link tech support.
Axis offers high quality prices, but you might be paying a little more for the name.
I won't try selling you on our brand, but please feel free to check out the demo page on our website to see a few different cameras in real life action.
Good luck. _________________ 4XEM Corporation
