Dlink 950G firmware

Hi.

My 950G stopped responding a few days ago. I unplugged the power and plugged it in again, and the camera came back to life.
When I logged in to it. I was prompted to install a new version of the active-X.
I did that and a new surprise emerged. I can now zoom the videoimage (digital zoom). I checked the settings for the camera. The firmware was now ver. 1.08 (the sourcecode shows 1.72.1031.2007).
And the question is: Where did this update come from?
I know that I haven't installed it. I can't find this update anywhere on the Dlink-pages (not any of them).

Anybody have a clue?

Hi again.
Mystery solved. My stepson was visiting, and he had installed the new firmware. He didn't tell me.

I can't tell if it will work with all versions of this camera.
