Recently my brother and I have purchased Blue Iris software and have spent many hours experimenting with the software and it's remote client ability. I must admit I have been very happy with my investment. I am running 4 Axis cameras 2- model 2100 and 1- model 205 and 1- model 207w. All perform flawlessly and the 207w 's audio works too. After a lot of playing with settings I have all 4 setup with motion detection with very good detection and few false triggers. The support on this software is very good and will help get your cam up & running. Having tried several demos and using Axis Camera Station I think this is a very good deal at 49.95. This is great software for the person wanting to check in on home when away....very easy to configure for remote viewing. Although it is limited on what you can via the remote client, it does have all the viewing controls you need. I am looking forward to this software growth and continued improvements.

I can second Stick55 opinion:
I run BlueIris on a PIII/750 laptop connected through a router to a 9100a video server running Yoics 2.46 firmware. The software is rock solid and over the last four months of running continuously has never even once disappointed me. I bought it when it was $39 and I do not regret a bit.
The author Ken Pletzer has a professional attitude and is open to any suggestion.
This piece of software has the potential to be the best for the home user market.
I wish the author will include in the future developments the possibility to use the parallel port for sensors signal acquisition for action triggering.
