|
|
Some computers show live video, others black screen, although thay have similar HW configuraton, and thay use IE7 and Windows XP.
The ones that work: newly installed operating system (XP or Vista), without any video codecs.
The ones that don't work: IE7 crashes, seconds after black screen apperars.
All computers are connected on a same network, have installed .NET Framework 2.0, DirectX, etc...
Any suggestions to make this work?
Thanx...

Something basic but important to check; did you recentely do a windows update on the machines that give problems ? I have seen many strange things in the video b/c of directX incompatibilities.

I would also recommend to check Internet Explorer security settings. Sometimes ActiveX-es are blocked. And you get black screens.
