Is there any PTZ network camera can record the state information (pan/tilt/ zoom, etc) when it captures a frame and send this information with the frame together to the user?

I am a user of SONY RZ30N. I want to control the camera to track some target. Such information is extremely useful for me to define control command, especially I need the zoom information. I feel it is not a difficult task for camera manufacturers. they don't need to change any hardware for this, just update their driver can do this.

is anyone has the similar consideration?
anyone who knows a model can do this job, please let me know. I really appreciate it.

Sony will release the API for system integrators (for example authors of NVR software who wish to write support for Sony PTZ cameras). I'm not sure what their requirements are for 'system integrator' status but you may simply try emailing them a request for the information. I have a hunch the positional data is already returned in the packet.
