This camera works very well - there are some sample video clips via that web page.

Off-site recording is another matter.
Bear in mind that you are transmitting from the camera site via your internet uplink.
Often this does not have very great bandwidth, maybe 256Kbps, maybe less ...

If you can, it is usually better to record at the camera site, then visit that recorder via the internet to view recordings.

You are not then dependent upon the internet to record AND can record locally in higher quality; bigger/better images at a a faster frame rate than you could possibly achieve via an uplink to the net.

You can of course still configure motion detection in the camera or local recording software to initiate an email or a text message to you when there is some activity which may be of interest.

Preferably, record all the time, but use the motion detection to 'flag' activity; in this way you will miss nothing.

HDD capacity is cheap nowadays.
Even the recording software is often free!
