Hi,

I'm new here, I hope this question is ok here.

I'm searching for a video solution which records 5 cameras. Any common brand like Axis, Sony, Trendnet, Airlink etc. is ok.

My boss requires to find a system which is usable from any PC, Mac or Linux workstation without the installation of any additional software to watch recordings and to view live views. No ActiveX, no Java are allowed.

Is this possible at all?

I only found systems which require the installation of ActiveX or Java Applets!

Thanx in advance,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Please visit http://www.c-mor.us. It's exactly the system you requested with your post.

Our C-MOR system works without the installation of any plugins. Even the mobile devices environment does not require that.

Have a look on our demo server which is reachable from our web page. You will figure: no installation on your PC/Mac or whatever you use!

Garry

blue iris, though it supports activex and java it also supports jpg pull, so you don't need to install any additional software on the viewing system

Hi,

I checked out both solutions. I like the online demo of C-MOR and the fact it runs in a web browser and it really was not necessary to install anything. The blue iris seems to be a software only? How can I use it from remote on another PC like i did with C-MOR?

Thanx!

Tom

guess I got you wrong there:

blue iris needs to be installed locally on one windows machine, and then can be accessed remotely. Guess that isn't the solution you wanted.

greetings

Dwayne
