I have a Dlink DCS 900 IP camera and I use D View Cam software, that came with the camera, to monitoring. I have tried many times and still not able to use it outside my locally lan. Locally I am able to monitoring (at home where the camera is) but at the work, in the office (remotly) I can not. I have installed Dlink View software I set up the Dlink View System Admin. Add area, add camera and it is here that the problem comes. When I click the Icon "Add camera" it shows the camera setting to fulfill the model, IP, Port number, location, camera user name, camera password. I set all those parameters but the reply is: "Parameter set up error: unable to connect device. Please try again"
The firewall at the sms router (at work) is disabled. What could be wrong.
I would really appreciate your help since I email Dlink several times to help me and I have no answers from them.
Best Regards,

Lisbon.
Portugal.
P.S. Sorry my english. Rolling Eyes
