Hello,

I am running a business at home, and I want to buy:

- 4 ip camera's
- which can store the recordings on a harddisk of a pc
- which can store the recordings on a remote server
- see current views on a website/cell phone

My budget is 1500 Euro, and for other services I do not want to spend more then 50 Euro per month.

My questions going about:

1) Which camera to use. I have found the Axis 207W ip camera, good choice ?
2) What kind of software is best to use ? Is Blue Iris a good choice ?
3) Which companies offer the services for online recording ? Or can I just also use an ftp account ?
4) Can't Wifi be distrubed ? What is better wired or Wifi ?

I think many people have these same questions, and thanks a lot for answering.

You can go with the 207 or the M1011 by axis, both are a good choice. About recording software, I'm not going to be bias here, and just avoid that point. The thing I do recommend though, is if you can go for the m1011 it has more suitable features for remote viewing the camera directly.

Thanks for responding.

I also was looking at security cams from logitech:

What do you all think about this solution ?
