Hello all, first time poster with a few questions.
I'm looking to put a few cameras up at work and am still trying to figure out what I need. The smaller the lense the wider the FOV, right? What's the benefit of having a larger lense? Is it more detailed? A 3.6mm would have roughly 3 times the FOV of a 9mm lense, correct?
The smaller the focal length of the lens, the wider the FOV.
If you're going with fixed cameras or domes, look for Varifocal lenses, as you are able to adjust the focal length during the install process to settle on the exact FOV you want. _________________ Administrator
