I'm trying to get the MPEG-4 option streaming over the net with an AXIS 215. Does anyone know whether this is possible through the browser or does the client need to have Quicktime, WMP installed? As far as I'm aware it should stream over the browser by using the active x control, perhaps I've to change some settings?

I believe you can stream it using quicktime only. Might have to install the codec provided on the camera as well. _________________ I can record your video remotely. PM for details.

We dont have the Axis 215 here but other Axis cameras stream Mpeg4 via an Active X component.
You usually need to download a second Acitve X component to view the Mpeg4 stream, but your browser should prompt you. Are you using IE? _________________ Administrator
