Im curious why nobody ever post links to their cams so we can see what you get from different cams. I posted a link to two of mine in another thread, but thought maybe we could get more cam links by having them in one place.

Would some one please post some links to their cams? and also, tell us what they are, and how much they cost, and how long youve had it.

If I could just find out how to do it.
Cannot figure out how to get the streaming video through the d-link 624m router and then what web address or IP to give people to connect to see it.

Does your ISP (Internet Service Provider) give you a dynamic or static IP? Also, with your router you need to setup port forwarding to your camera. So lets say your ISP gives you an ip of 123.123.123.123 and you setup portforwarding on your router to forward port 800 to your camera IP - then someone would type in http://123.123.123.123:800 to access your camera.

I am pretty sure it's dynamic ISP, and the # is 24.230.166.72 and I have been trying to use port 81 or 800, in the router, but no one seems to be able to connect.
This is what is has after clicking on Advanced tab=

For some reason the subject did not show on my last.
I have a D-LINK DCS-950G camera, with a problem of getting things right in the router.
I can see the picture on my computer, but no luck for others to do the sme on the internet.

So far the suggestions you have given me don't help me a bit.
If you have your D-link DCS-950G camera running, and people can connect to it, can you tell me exactly how you did it.
Or at least put a link here so I can see it.
I got the firewall turned of, so I don't think that is the problem.
I can see the picture on my local computer, using the IP of the camera, but the problem comes with trying to get it so other people can see it on the internet.
It may not be getting through the router, and I have tryed to use different ports , maybe not doing it right.
According to the manual it sounds simple.

What is the current Web Port of your camera? It is found under the Tools then Port tabs. It needs to be set to the same port your router has set for the port forwarding which allows users coming through the Internet to view your camera. Do you have a port setup in your router forwarding to your camera?

I have tried to enter nothing but 80, in all the windows, and that didn't work either, but the 5001 is supposed to be for AV Streaming port.
The way it is show'n in the pictures does not work either.

Thank you for the screenshots.

Try this:

Change the "Web Port" on your camera to port 800.

On your router change the Private and Public Port to 800. You mentioned the Firewall was off too so that's good we don't have to worry about it yet.

Dont worry about the ports set to 5000 and 5001 that is only if you want streaming audio. Just leave them at 5000, 5001 and 5100 for the IP View Lite.

To test go to http://24.230.166.72:800. Also, once you change the port on the camera you might have to access it with that port. So you would type in http://192.168.0.20:800

See if that works.
