What has been your experience with the Panasonic BB-HCS301?
It allows analog CCTV cameras to be used as network cameras.
Any recommendations on good, inexpensive Video Switchers that will allow multiple CCTV cameras to be viewed sequentially with the BB-HCS301?
Not looking for a video switcher integrated with a DVR but just a standalone, inexpensive switcher.

This appears to be a Video Server (aka Video Encoder).
If your goal is to take CCTV cameras and IP-enable them, this is one of many devices you can use. Axis, ACTi, Vivotek, and many other manufacturers make video servers for this purpose.
Do you have specific requirements? _________________ Administrator

It is 8 cctv cameras in place that need to be viewed remotely. They can be viewed one at a time.
Any suggestions on inexpensive 8-to-1 video switchers that can be used? The switcher would need to sequentially show each cctv camera, similar to how they are viewed on a monitor.
The Panasonic is a single-channel device. I assume Axis, Acti and others are also single-channel devices?
Thank you.
