Just bought a Trendnet TV-IP100WN and D-Link DNS-323 couple days ago, spent 3 days to figure out how to upload the video into my DNS-323(with a 500g HD). The DNS-323 showed in network from my computer, I put in currect IP address, port number(I set the storage at 192.168.1.106 with port 2121), user name, password, and folder at the camera configuration page , but the video just not uploading.
The camera come with a software to record the video, should I just install that program into the storage (which I changed it into a FTP server) and use that to recording the video? or can I do it in this way?
can anyone give me any ideas what can I do to solve this problem?

wingon,
I would suggest installing the included software on a PC in the same network then utilizing the software for recording. Hopefully the software will allow you to point to a network drive or a mapped drive so that you can store the recorded data on the D-Link DNS-323. I don't believe you can install the recording software directly on the D-Link DNS-323 because it is designed as network attached storage but I may be wrong.
If the camera allows for direct recording to a storage location then it may not be recording currently due to either login restrictions not set between the camera and D-Link NAS box or may be that the camera needs parameters for which it will start to record.
I hope this helps! _________________ NCS Peter
