I need a lowcost, outdoor cam with good night capabilities(I need to see things that are 60ft away clearly) any suggestions?

Well you will probably want an InfraRed IP camera. Most IR (InfraRed) cameras I have seen for a low price cannot see things at 60ft. They can usually see objects at 30ft to 45ft. You can checkout this Axis link that discusses their cameras with good IR http://www.axis.com/products/cam_irillum/

Let me know if 45ft might work for you.

I would agree with Wes' suggestion, except since you require 60ft range, your going to need a "flame thrower" to get enough IR light out to the scene.

This might take you out of budget, but check out this site for IR:

The Axis camera you should use is the D/N camera. I'm not sure what size lens fits, but depending on what your are trying to capture, I would suggest a 3.5 mm - 10mm varifocal lens.
