ACTi video server help

Hi, I have an ACTi ACD 2200 video server for 4 cameras. I can view the images successfully by logging into a PC with the ACTi software setup on it. However, this only works on internet explorer. Ideally I would like to put the images straight on a webpage, with no intermediate host PC. Is this possible? Will the images show using something like firefox?

The user manuals for ACTi are one of the worst I have ever read!

Can you please tell me what you mean by viewing the images? Do you mean single snapshots? Slide-show? Live Video stream? Playback video stream?

About the manuals, I agree that they can be improved. The good news is, all the existing manuals are being rewritten right now. Also, the user interface of the firmware will be continuously enhanced, too.

At the same time, if there are any questions about the manuals, such as questions about installation or configuration, or architecture, feel free to ask, and we will do our best to assist you.

Hi. By viewing the images, I mean a live video stream. I don't want to use the NVR software, as that involves connecting to a second PC.

I have upgraded all the firmware to the latest versions, but am having no luck in working out how to set up the server to enable direct connection to it for just the video stream.
