Hello guys, I want to mount a new camera in a ski resort, my only solution is to use a 3G router or 3G camera, the problem is that the camera I found to support 3G sim card it's over my budget, the camera costs ~500EURO

I started to look over some 3G routers, which are cheper, ant I can use them along with a USB modem, I just have to plug in the 3G USB modem into the router and it will be recognized and used to share the Internet connection on the LAN ports.
While I was searching I found some routers which had 2 USB ports, one could be used for USB modem and one for w USB camera http://www.sapido.com.tw/EN/productgr1102o.htm

The problem with this one is that in the manual I have downloaded I can only see the 320x240 image resolution setting for the images saved to a FTP server .. I wanted to have the images at 640x480. Now I wait for an official answer, I just sent them a message.

I found this one too : http://icamview.com/icv32.htm but the demo I found on this website shows a dark noisy image.

Anyone can give me some advices to find a cheap solution to this one, do you know any router to suport USB webcam with a resolution of 640x480? (I have an ASUS WL-700gE and it also suports only 320x240 resolution for the USB webcam)

UPDATE:
After more searching found this IP camera which it seems supports any browser, it works without ActiveX, if it doesn't have an option to send an image to my ftp server probably I can get it using some script which run on my web server. Anyone have used this tipe of camera ?

Thank you.

If this is still hot, how do you access it from the Internet?

Isn't like, that you need an extra data service to access the cams through the Internet like http://www.c-mor.com offer it?

K.
