I am new to the "webcam" world, so I need help.

I am looking for a type of inexpensive, wireless cameras to monitor my children and babysitter while they are in different parts of the house. I would like something that can either connect to the computer, or the TV. And that I can record video footage when i'm out.

I would appreciate any recommendations for specific wireless cameras in the lower-end price range.

Thanks.

Hi Peggy,

You could go with a D-Link camera or 4XEM camera. They both offer free software with their cameras for recording as well. The 4XEM WL80 also has the ability to connect to a TV and to a computer. If you wanted to record to a VCR the WL80 would be able to do that.

Do you have a specific price range?

Thanks for the info Wes.

I was hoping to get a wireless IP camera for $100 - $200. Is that realistic? Even if it only connects to the computer, and not the TV.

Thanks
