Sorry, if this issue was addressed elsewhere, but I have not been able to find reference to it. Due to strange circumstances, I have acquired a DCS-950G (D-Link).

During a few days' worth of attempts at installation, I have been able to obtain images on only two occasions. Subsequently, the login prompts that follow attempts to view the images by web browser do not respond.

This problem of User ID and Password seems to have been addressed in a firmware fix, so I downloaded. The problem is now that firmware can seemingly only be updated once one has passed through the defective login protocol.

Does anybody know how I might effect the firmware update without being trumped by the bug?

Tech support will not talk to me b/c of my home region is not apparently serviced by their varied offices.

Can you get a refund?
I purchased a Linksys router from a local computer store and had the same issue, I never got into the Main Menu...I did many resets to factory default and never got into it after many logins ...so someone told me it was a "bug" and I should get a refund. I got a refund and went to Walmart and purchased a similar one and is working fine!
