After installing two Axis cameras, several weeks ago, and taking a look at the Log File for each camera I noticed several IP addresses from places as far as China or Brazil, trying to get access to my ports..specially on port 8080. What I see is: request xx.xx.xx.xx.... (at the log file, and checking the IPs, they are from China or Brazil)....anyone can tell me if this is a hacker attack or is an automatic program trying to find an open port?

You have both, the search engines have spiders that search out every possible thing on the internet so they can include it in their search engine and you have hackers that have port scanning software trying to find a hidden treasure. Just have good passwords on your camera and hope for the best.
