I bought it even with the bad reviews and i have had no trouble at all with it! It came with 1.6 firmware. It does run hot and it has been on for over 48 hours so far.

Only trouble i had was using a port that my ISP didn't block.

Why would your ISP block ports? Who's your ISP?

Most ISP's block port 80.

Weird, I've been running a personal web server on my machine for the last year or so on port 80 for misc. projects: http://home.avclan.net/winamp for example Very Happy

now mine too after having discovered the use of port 5000 & 5001 on top of 80 to display the camera's image
