hi all ,
i have a swann 4ch dvr and have been trying to set it up to network so i can view while im away , but im not very good at this sort of thing and cant for the life of me get it to work when i want to view from elsewhere , i have it setup so i can view it from my own pc , i have pc viewer d6 and when i click on net it asks for host , on my home pc i put in the ip of the dvr and i get a picture , but when im out if i put in the host in the browser i get sent to google , i do have a dns account but i use that for an ipcam , can someone please help me sort this out .

Hello Dave,

If you are not very good at this sort of things, then I think it will be better you get someone who is an expert on security systems to physically show you how to do this. You will get a lot of problems with the device later if it is not properly fix by you.
