I need help in selecting the proper camera for my situation. There is a stream that I need to monitor all hours. At night it especially tends to flood and I need to be able to see this to make determinations on actions. The stream is about 125' from where the camera is mounted.

I have been using a Vissior security camera that has IR but I can barely see 8 inches in front of the camera. Daytime is so-so since it is low resolution. Frankly I think it's just a piece of junk.

Anyway, can someone suggest a camera that has good IR capabilities and daytime capabilities to handle this task? 3MP is probably where I would like to be. The camera must be a NET cam so the Emergency Operations Center can view it from the center via the web. I am not interested in wireless.

One camera I was looking at is the StarDot XL series netcam. It has autoiris and has a weather proof enclosure. Zooming is something that I would like the viewer to be able to control via the browser.

If you need any other specifics, I will try to get that information.

Thanks for your help.
