Hi I'm hoping I can get some help here. I can view my cameras over the internet using the supplied software and using internet explorer with active x enabled. All ports forwarded and everything works fine.

My problems start when I try to connect with my itouch, I use cplayer (free from iTunes app store) to connect. When I try to connect via my LAN the player says connecting...buffering..100% then blank, black screen or sometimes it exits the application.

Anyone got any ideas????

I'm using a unbranded H.264 dvr with 4 cameras.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers

Pat.

most DVR manufacturers make their own apps for the embeded type DVR's. All I can suggest is keep trying different apps I used an app called KWeye from the app store it was used for an un-branded H.264 DVR. Your best best might use the VNC app to remote into another comp and open a webviewwer remotely on that machine. Ive used it like this before with proprietary software DVR's it works but kinda ghetto...

again try the KWeye APP worked for me with a 100$ h.264 dvr
