POE Switch Help

Hi There!

I have access to a HP 1905-8-PoE (JD877A) Switch (Formally 3Com) for a smoking price and am wondering if it will have enough horsepower to handle the throughput of 3 - 2.0 or 3.0 Megapixel IP Cameras? The cameras send in a H.264 Format so that helps with the bandwidth. But since it is only a 10/100 POE Switch I wanted to double check it would handle the three streams without stuttering.

It's just 3 - H.264 Streams and the cameras only connect at 10/100 so I'm thinking it should be fine. Just wanting to double check with the experts before I pull the trigger though.

I haven't seen any cameras, including high end MP cameras that are over 100BaseT so you'll be OK.
