Hi MichaelZ,
Thanks for your post. I'm glad you found the Y-cam so easy to install. It has been designed specifically for ease of installation and use even by non technical users.
Regarding your question, almost all modern routers support UPnP. I have never seen a commercially sold router which doesn't.
