Hello!

I'm installing 5x Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-I around my house, the first is already running and I tested ist a little bit in the last few days.

The goal is to watch all 5 live-view-cams at the same time in a sort of split-screen interface.

On this systems I want this multi-view:
-Windows-PC's with Firefox-Browser and
-Android Phones and Tablets.

So I plan a web-interface with a multi-view-function. A similar system, with 4 iframes I'm already installed on a friend's house and it works well, but only via MJPEG-Stream.

1.

Is there a way to use H.264 in Web on a android-device?
For windows I read that i need a VLC-plugin.

Isn't it possible without plugin?

2. (much more important)

viewing 5 pictures in 1 display is not very effective use of display-space.
I don't need the full range of each pictures because >50% of each picture shows the house-wall and other uninteresting stuff.
So is there a way to use only selected parts of each pictures and sort them in the viewing interface, so I can optimize the multi-view-screen?

Is this solvable via. web (HTML (-5) ect. ) or is there an app existing?

I'm not a programmer, but copying, pasting and editing simple html-codes are possible for me.

thank you and best regards!
