i have a camera with a 3.6mm F2.0 and was wondering if that is better than a 3.2mm and F1.8. I am trying to use it for night viewing of about 12-15' and then possibly some day time viewing. It is supposed to be a 118 degree viewing angle as well. Thoughts????

Well judging by the mm of your current lens, you should be able to view 12' to 15' if the camera is 15 feet away. You might be able to get a 2.8mm lens that could improve that but it won't be by much. Check out Tamrons site for lenses. They also have a fish eye lens that allows you to see 180 degrees.

As for night viewing, I would suggest an IR lens but I don't know if you can get an IR lens as low as 3.2mm. You could try getting a day/night camera that allows for visibility in low light and then hook up a wide lens to it.

What is your current camera?
