Hi folks.

I've found a setup that I'd like to so with an Axis 214 and use the Outdoor Pendant dome. Problem is, the dome housing does not look like it will be able to stay attached in 100 mph winds (seriously, this is a big consideration).

So I'm thinking that the Videotec DBH24K housing looks more robust, but I'm having trouble finding a place to buy one.

My questions:

What kind of setup would you guys recommend for this application? I like the 214, but I'm not committed, I need PTZ and good quality.

Where the heck do I find a Videotec DBH24K?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The 214 is a good camera. I like AXIS because their cameras are high in quality and low in bugs. They are very well built and thats what you need if the camera is going to be shaken more than usual by high winds. Sorry I have to ask, where exactly is the camera going? Wink

As for the dome, check out the AXIS where to buy section http://www.axis.com/sales/index.php They list resellers that sell their products. You can also try contacting them to see if they can provide you with a location to purchase the dome.

One location I found was here http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopSearch.asp?CategoryID=413 but it is located in the UK.
