Ok, I'm looking for a bit of software which i can't find (or i might not have been looking with the right keywords)
I have some USB webcams, and a set of Windows PC's, these PC's are placed randomly around the building. What I'm trying to do is convert the USB webcams to IP-Camera's... so that i can collect the USB webcam sources in the main server (where I want them installed as a video-source). This way i can create a security overview of the sources and back it up to the pc.
So in Short, i already have the software to collect multple sources and store them on the harddrive. I just need some piece of software to transport (USB) Video sources over the network...
Thanks!

Hi,
Try EyeSoft IP CCTV Software, it works with USB webcams and you can try the free 14-day demo to make sure it suits your needs. Download from IP CCTV Software [/url] _________________ IP CCTV Systems

With whatever software you use to record now, does it let you choose where to store the video? e.g. a folder on C drive? If so then all you have to do is map a network drive from the server and choose that as a recording location.
Or you can share the storage folder and access it from any other PC on the network?
Even a VPN connection will let you simply connect to the recording folder and transfer the video files from anywhere in the world?
If you wanted to transport files on a schedue FTP software to upload the folder to the web then download it where ever you like. _________________ IP CCTV Systems
