There are so many camera companies in Shenzhen that I would be afraid to go there and be video taped everywhere I go. Nevermind, we have that already in the U.S.

Can your company make something that I think would be unique and work hand in hand with the IP camera market, and that is an IP weatherstation.

Many Web Cams on the internet would benefit from having weather information, like temperature, wind speed, barometric pressure, humidity for current conditions as well as high/lo for the day. This can be a static page, or better, an API for getting this information to put on a custom web page.

I think a non-Chinese company would first need to create such a product so the Chinese can steal it, tear it apart, reverse engineer it, build it using cheap inferior parts, and sell it to the world at rock bottom prices only to have repeat business for the same product using different lipstick after the original product fails.

Such an item does exist, but the $500+ pricetag is a deterant for just my personal use. So go for it Shenzhen, find it, copy it, sell it cheap on ebay.
