Need Help.
MY camera is working fine, snapshots and videos are stored on my local PC. But when i want want to setup the conncetion to my server (windows sbs 2003) ig got the message "Mount failed". My Workgroup is working fine.
Any suggestions?

The change sharing permissions.. Add to list of user EVERYONE and make sure Write check box is checked..

thy for your help, but
sorry, doesn't work either.
i tested several things:
if i take a pc in the workgroup only, i have access to that pc.
i have no access to the server or a member of the domain.

Start with some basics, like can you ping the camera from the Windows server? I had the toughest time with our Mobotix cameras until i found out my NAS didn't support Linux servers. I got a different model, a WD World Edition and it works great.
How do you like the Vivotek cameras? When it writes to a Windows mount, are you able to find and retrieve the video clips through their software or does it just store a bunch of AVI or MPG videos?
Here's the manual for your camera and page 86 covers your topic, but I'm assuming you already hae that.
