IP Camera software in need.

hello, I`m trying to find a software for my 4 IP PTZ cams that can give me an nice web login with no need for installation of any other software rather than an ActiveX. ( For my users. ) My goal is to set up a system on our boat harbour ( for yachts ) that every member can log into from there own computers on the internet. They are people with low understanding, they just want to see if theyr yachts are still floating.
Something like Zoneminder ( for linux ) user interface, but running on microsoft would be perfect.
Hope someone can help me out in the right direction

Don't think you need software, actually, software would make it harder for everyone as they would have to install software.

The easiest option is to- have each camera FTP an image with a fixed file name to a website every few minutes, then create a web page with those 4 images. If you want, you can have them click on the image that takes them to the webpage for the camera and they can control the PTZ function from there.

flexible choice for low number of users - use the API most of these cameras have to display an live feed on a web page and also the PTZ controls. I say low number of users because I'm assuming you have a typical home or small office DSL or cable modem line that's capped at 512 or 768K/sec upload which is not enough to have more than one person looking at it at low frame rates and low resolution. It may help to get a seperate DSL line for each camera, or a dedicated commercial circuit, you can probably get 3mb for $400-500/mo and support a small handful of users with full PTZ control of the cameras.
