http://castlekeeper.40th.com/
Check it out for lots of full-size screenshots, videos, full version demo, and even a free version.
- Fun and easy to use
- http://castlekeeper.40th.com/eds.html To download, buy; see screenshots, videos, docs; and more
- Supports RTP/RTSP (mpeg4/avc/h264) and HTTP (mjpeg) network/IP cameras - covers most IP cameras sold today
- Tired of having to download and install yet another activeX/browser plug-in? No more! Not with CK2+
- Control up to 64 camera windows (camWins), as a mix of live or recorded views
- Multi-instance capable - run separate instances of CK2+ at the same time
- View on up to 10 display monitors - place any camWin on any monitor(s) at any time at any size
- Drag a camera configuration, an entire group of cameras, or a recording onto any camWin for immediate viewing
- CamWins can be: fixed size contained (5 configurable sizes), varying size contained, or varying size floating
- View in-progress, live recordings - view from a local client a recording being made on a remote, headless server
- Very low CPU and resource use:
- Record-only (no viewing) uses negligible CPU (barely measurable at all)
- For viewing, each additional 640x480 camera @ 30 FPS uses 1-2% CPU
- All configuration is done by simple, readable text files (excluding credentials)
- Camera user/password credentials are encrypted with a unique key when stored on disk
- Basic and Digest authentication
- Macro execution (GET and POST) - write a script; let 'er rip, now, or by schedule
- Cameras auto-restart (in record mode if applicable) on any unexpected disconnection
- Recordings can be up to 24+1 hours per file - recordings are managed by group + camera + date-time
- Expunge recordings automatically after group-expire days, or after, if specified, camera-expire days
- Record in various modes/rates - change recording mode based on time (DUSK, 07:00, etc.), & event
- Versatile playback control:
- Playback rate of up to 60x - Still, 0.1x to 60x
- Jump to a particular hh:mm:ss
- Jump to the previous or next event
- Play in reverse
- Sync (in time) all viewed recordings, or those in the same group, to one recording
- Export excerpts to a native file (w/events over the period), or to an AVI file (audio and video)
- Event logging - jump directly to any listed event; scroll quickly though event scenes by spacebar
- Event detection (motion detect, port toggle, PIR, etc.) is performed on-camera, with status captured:
- Direct-from-stream for popular cameras, including Axis, Toshiba, Trendnet, Vivotek; w/ID, MD percent, etc.
- From HTTP/TCP notification receive (all/any network:port), which most cameras can send (simple message)
- Instantly snapshot, for as fast and long as you can double-click, a camWin, or all camWins in the same group
- MaxRing™ - put two or more camWins in the maximized window ring, showing each for a configurable period
- Listen to live audio over HTTP from multiple cameras (most Axis & Panasonic, Trendnet(301))
- Record audio with video (RTP/RTSP, AAC & G.726) for live listen and playback
- ...and Plus some, with even more to come
- For Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 2003/2008 servers; all at latest SP
- Requires: x86 w/SSE2; to view, DirectX 9+ hardware (not emulation)

Now comes with three more camera drivers, for
Vivotek 3000 series (D-link, 4xem, level1, and others), h263 cameras
vivotek 6000 series (D-link, 4xem, level1, and others), mpeg4 (part 2) cameras
rtp/rtsp h.264/avc/mpeg4 (part 10) cameras
Just add the ip addr/port, start up command, and that's it. _________________ 40th Floor - Software @ http://40th.com/

Now comes with RTP audio, which unlike the already-available http audio, can be recorded, and exported (generally-perfect A/V sync in an AVI container). More interesting things are in the Changes list. _________________ 40th Floor - Software @ http://40th.com/

I've updated the demo to include more than a dozen ready-made camera templates of public/live cameras around the US. You don't even need a camera yourself to use it; nothing else to install - it's 100% self-contained (no active-x, etc.). Here's a shot of the remote2 group all at once.
or if that doesn't show

The first one, Atlanta, even lets you control the PTZ. All are motion-jpeg (I've yet to find a public mpeg4/avc camera stream) so bandwidth with all 14 running will depend on your internet speed. Some cameras run 10 FPS, most are less. The St Johns camera (with that cool looking machine) is 1280x1024, and 8 FPS or so. Most, if not all the others, are 640x480 or 704x480 You can float their windows to get them full size, or whatever size. _________________ 40th Floor - Software @ http://40th.com/

I downloaded your software and got it to work with my Axis 207w. I like the software alot but most of my cameras are Foscams. I have tried everything to get this to work with them but cannot figure it out. Can you tell me how to do this? Thanks
John
