Does anyone have any experience with this unit?
The specs and price are impressive, but I'm a bit leery of buying a product without a track record. Any advice would be appreciated!

Mickever,
Welcome to the forum. I would stay away from these cameras. I have two, a real Foscam and the clone like in your link. Images from both are soft and the Foscam I have boots up sometimes, other times it just plays dead. Cute toy to learn about IP cameras. The only advice I can give you is that if it's made in Shenzhen, China, it's probably not worth it. If you like Chinese made cameras, look for ones made in nearby Taiwan.

Thank you both for the input. I've followed up on the first Foscam tip, and was impressed by forum comments re performance and support. Perhaps I should be more skeptical.
If not one of these units, what economical alternates would you recommend for low-light, night-time surveillance (50-foot range) with motion detect alert?
Thanks!

Bit late, but still... Bought one of these a few weeks ago. First PTZ for me. Shipping went well, but as said, poor quality. After 2 weeks it went dead. It boots but there is no way to get into it's webbased menu anymore. Reset button on the bottom doesn't work. I never got the wireless part to work either. It searches and sees my home network but it won't play over wifi. Nice and cheap if you wanna get into ip ptz cams but don't expect to much of it.
