I am a student and in my work for the school i have a sony Ipela Snc-Rz25N but i don't know the command for see video in a Vlc player or windows media player.

if anyone can help me i appreciate

Hi all,

I have the same problem. I would like to have the direct URL from the stream of the camera.

So far I have done many things to work around the firmware of the SNC-RZ25. If I go the the IP address of the camera I get a website with a stream from the camera and I'm able to control the camera. However, I would like to record the stream. In order to do that I have tried different things to find the direct stream address of the webcam:

- Try to hack the firmware via HTTP post commands... (no success)
- Set the TCP/UDP setting of the camera to different ports with the admin panel of the camera, no success...
- Checked the data transfer with WireShark. Found out that although I changed the port setting within the admin panel of the SNC, the stream stays at port nr: 50000. If I connect to the IP address via my browser.
- I also tried to use the IP address and port number within VLC player, but I don't see anything. (It does not give an error, but I have no video)

The UDP protocol I inserted into VLC = udp://192.168.0.101:50000

After that I downloaded the Sony RealShot Manager trial and this can make the connection and recordings. So there should be a way to get the stream to the computer without the webserver of the camera.

Can anybody help us to find the stream address? Thanx in advance.
