We are a small non profit that last year had 3 IP bases camera systems installed. List below is the following equipment.

Site 1
16 cameras
6/ Panasonic BB-HCM531A
10/ Panasonic BB-HCM403A
BB-HPN-15A software

Site 2
9 cameras
3/ Panasonic BB-HCM531A
6/ Panasonic BB-HCM403A
BB-HPN-15A software

Site 3
8 Cameras
3/ Panasonic BB-HCM531A
5/ Panasonic BB-HCM403A
BB-HPN-15A software

The cameras are good cameras for our needs but the software is pretty crappy. I have looked at a couple other pieces of software and really like NUUO but is out of the price range. The Exacq software looks nice but is not compatible. I could not get milestone demo to find the cameras, as it would not let you change the user name.

I basically want a easy to use software for the end user so they can monitor the camera either threw a web GUI or threw a piece of software loaded on there computer. I also would like to choose the times the cameras record all the time and after hours on motion detect.

The current Panasonic software requires the user to RDP into the server to see the cameras.

Also Audio is important as is setting recording limits on the size of the files so we dont run out of space.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Look in my sig. For your case, you won't find anything for less (that doesn't sound as good as it should). Well, you could, but you already have seen bad. There's a demo so nothing to lose but some time.

has some more, or the site in my .sig has lots more pics and docs. One of these days, I'll have to post the oh-so-familiar paper thief video (that guy was one desperate paper thief - finally met him face to face). Funny videos. Really good stuff.

I use Security Monitor Pro video surveillance software - works great with my Panasonic camera installations. They have a free evaluation version you can download.
