Hi all.
I having toruble to access my Axis M1031W from the web.

The cam is connected wireless to Netgear WNDR 3700 that is connected with cable to Globesurfer III router.

When I write the adress I get to theGlobesurfer innloging page and not to the cam.

I have forwarded the port but is seems like it is something else that is the problem?

Arne.

Do you map web port and rtsp port for your Axis ip camera on your router? We think your problem is due to port mapping! and you must assure your router 's internet ip address can be reached from internet!

Thanks for answering Smile

I have now come so far that I can access the cam when I write the ip adress of the cam or the repeater but only locally/when I am connected to the same network.
As soon as I try to acces it from internet it cant be found.
I thought that it could be an easy solution for this , I am not so good at port mapping etc.
I think I will have to hire som local IT guy......

By the way, I have just downloaded the trial of your H264 software and really likes it Smile
I will probably go for this when I get my cams up and going

You only need to port forward the one port and that's port 80 by default unless you changed it. What IP address are you using to connect to the camera from outside the network? Go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ and it will tell you big easy read numbers what your external IP address is and try that.

Some router's firewall will prevent you looping back through your WAN address. Have someone else try the IP address for you that is not on your network.

I have now tried "everything".
The internet provider have checked the configurations and the shop where I bought the cam hve checked.
Last thing happening is the shop where I bought the Globesurfer.
I have just sent them the configuration file from the router and we will see what will happen......
