Kennel IP Camera App

I would like to setup a service for animal kennels to offer to those that board their pet. I propose that for a small daily fee, a CCTV camera would be placed in their pets run. They would be allowed to log in 24/7 to view their pets activity/well-being etc.

I thought I would add my own router to their internet connection, connect each ip camera with a static IP and port. Then all they have to do is give the customer that info for them to login.

My questions are:
1. How could I know how many days the camera was used in a month (to ensure I get paid)
2. Make sure the correct customer is seeing the correct animal

Does anyone have any thoughts, see any flaws etc? I appreciate your help.

The camera itself is not going to do this, you need router software that does this, like a router billing solution that charges people for connecting to their router. In theory, like a WiFi user using Boingo, a connection comes into the router. It spits up a page that says that they can pay to connect, they provide their credit card info and then it lets them connect for hours or the day.

I don't want a hot spot at the kennel, but allow the dog/cat owner to log in from vacation to see their pet 24/7.

Anyone ever do anything like this? How do day cares do it?

Day care centers that put kids in cages with surveillance cameras and parents have to pay to see their kids suffering, wow, they do things differently in Texas.

Don't know anyone that does this, but I do know what's involved. You need a webserver, say similar to BlueIris software that allows you to create userids and link them to cameras. So you assign Fido's owner a userid and password, it's linked to the camera in Fido's cage. The customer can then log on that website and only see Fido's cage and possibly a common dog run area. But what you would have to add is some way to to accept a charge card, automatically create a temporary account and figure out how to link the camera and owner. Then bill per minute, hour, day, however you like. Sort of the same way you pay by time for internet access at some airports.

I think there's a device or software made for cameras and CCTVs to ensure who's looking and what to look for.
