I want to install analog cameras at a place where I want to connect them to a Fiber Optic backbone. The fiber optic works on IP. How can I convert analog camera to IP camera to connect it to FO. Kindly also guide what type of FO should be used, I have to connect 6 cameras at long distance. Max distance is around 2500m. Can someone guide me.....
That's easy, all it takes is money. You need a fiber optic bridge to bridge the two ethernet networks and you need a analog to IP encoder like from Axis (they make them for single camera to multiple cameras). You'll also need a switch at the camera side for the encoders to plug into and in turn plug into your fiber switches. _________________ For network camera articles and reviews, visit my blog at http://ipcamnetwork.wordpress.com
